Creating a Campaign (Step-by-Step)
Our 5-step wizard guides you through every aspect of campaign creation, from ad setup to targeting and budget.
Step 1: Ad Setup
Define the look, feel, and message of your ad.
- Campaign Details:
- Campaign Name: An internal name for your reference.
- Campaign Tag: Select the single best category for your project (e.g., NFT Marketplace, Stablecoins, DEX & Aggregators).
- Ad Format & Display Logic: Choose one of three formats. This choice impacts where your ad can be shown.
- Banner: A full graphical ad.
- Icon with Text: Your logo with a headline and description.
- Text Ad: A simple headline and description.
- Ad Content:
- Headline & Description: Write the copy for your ad.
- Destination URL: The webpage users will land on after clicking.
- Call to Action (CTA): Select the text for your ad's button (e.g., "Install," "Visit").
Step 2: Onchain Targeting
This is where the magic happens. Define your perfect audience based on verifiable blockchain data.
- Target Chains: Select the blockchain(s) your audience is active on (e.g., Ethereum, BNB Chain). This acts as a master filter for the options below.
- Onchain Behavior:
- Protocol & Contract Interaction: Target users who have interacted with specific DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap) or individual smart contracts.
- Function Call Categories: Target users by the type of functions they've called (e.g., users who have staked, swapped, or minted).
- Token Interaction: Target users who have sent or received specific tokens.
- Token Holding Requirement: Target users who hold a minimum USD value of a certain token.
- Pre-built Audience Lists: Use our curated lists to easily target common user profiles.
Step 3: Audience Details
Further refine your audience with additional wallet and technical attributes. All fields in this step are optional.
- Wallet Attributes: Filter by Minimum Wallet Age, Wallet Balance Range, Transaction Frequency, Domain Ownership (ENS/SpaceID), and Wallet Provider (e.g., MetaMask).
- Technical Attributes: Standard targeting options including Location (country), Browser Language, Device type, Operating System, and Browser.
Step 4: Budget & Bid
Set the financial parameters that control your campaign's spending.
- Daily Spending Limit (Optional): Set a maximum amount to spend per day to control your pacing.
- Campaign Budget: Your campaign budget is not a fixed limit but is funded via top-ups. A minimum of $1.00 must be added to submit a campaign for review. You can add more funds at any time from the campaign page.
- Set Your Bid (Base CPM): Enter the base price you are willing to pay for 1,000 impressions. The system will provide a recommended bid to help you stay competitive. Note: The final cost for Banner ads is Base CPM + 30%.
- Frequency Cap: Limit how many times a single user sees your ad per day.
