Appendix A: Advertising Content Policy
All Advertisers and Publishers must adhere to this Advertising Content Policy. Violation of this policy may result in campaign rejection, account suspension, or permanent termination from the Services.
The following content and practices are strictly prohibited ("Prohibited Content"):
1. Illegal Content
Content promoting illegal substances, products, services, or activities in the targeted jurisdiction. This includes, but is not limited to, illicit drugs, illegal weapons, and counterfeit goods.
2. Deceptive and Fraudulent Practices
- Phishing sites or any attempt to unlawfully collect user data.
- Ads containing malware, spyware, viruses, or other malicious code.
- "Get-rich-quick" schemes, financial pyramids, and misleading financial claims.
- Content that makes false or unsubstantiated claims about products or outcomes.
3. Discriminatory Content
Content that promotes discrimination, disparages, or incites hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic associated with systemic discrimination.
4. Adult and Sexually Explicit Content
- Pornography and sexually explicit material.
- Nudity, unless for clear artistic, educational, or scientific purposes and approved in advance.
- Content that promotes sexual services, such as prostitution or escort services.
5. Violence and Graphic Content
- Depictions of gratuitous violence, gore, or cruelty to humans or animals.
- Content that glorifies or encourages self-harm, suicide, or violence against others.
6. Intellectual Property Infringement
Content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
7. High-Risk Financial Products
Promotion of high-risk financial products such as Contracts for Difference (CFDs), binary options, or other speculative investments without proper licensing and clear risk warnings as required by law.
8. Gambling
Promotion of online or offline gambling, except in jurisdictions where it is explicitly legal and the campaign is targeted only to those jurisdictions with our prior approval.
9. Weapons and Explosives
Promotion of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and related accessories.
10. Deceptive User Experience
- Ads that mimic system warnings, site notifications, or error messages.
- Ads that initiate auto-downloads without user consent.
- Landing pages that prevent a user from easily navigating away (e.g., "back button hijacking").
11. Specific Prohibitions for Web3 and Cryptocurrency-Related Content
In addition to the general rules, the following are strictly prohibited in the context of Web3, blockchain, and digital asset advertising:
- Promoting any project whose smart contracts contain hidden functions designed to defraud users (e.g., "rug pulls," functions preventing the sale of a token, or mechanisms to drain user wallets).
- Ads that impersonate well-known projects, developers, or influencers. This includes using similar logos, project names, or social media handles to mislead users.
- Campaigns that falsely promise airdrops or NFT mints in exchange for connecting a wallet, signing a transaction, or providing a private key, with the intent of stealing assets.
- Promotion of tokens or NFTs whose underlying smart contracts have not been verified on a major block explorer (e.g., Etherscan, BscScan).
- Any language that guarantees or promises specific financial returns, "moonshots," or risk-free profits from investing in a token or NFT. All investment-related promotions must include a clear and conspicuous risk warning.
